Default Tastes Like Pizza

Fry up some thinly-sliced ham (enough to make layers)

Layer the fried ham with sliced pepper jack cheese and two teaspoons (flatware - not measuring spoon) of no-sugar-added spaghetti sauce.

When you've made as many layers as you wish, heat in the microwave until cheese is melted. I made two layers and it took just under a minute. (I suggest covering the dish with a paper towel or something, because it will make a mess of your microwave.)

Eat up!

This tasted just like pizza - without the crust. Very satisfying! I can see this being an easy lunch to take to work.

Cheese - 0 carbs
Ham - 2 carbs - YMMV
Spaghetti sauce - 2 carbs (4 carbs per 1/2 cup - used less than 1/4 cup)

That's easy, thanks very much for sharing.. I think my boyfriend and I might try this, but for ease, we might use the grill, lined with foil. That way, we can grill one side turn it and top it with the sauce, cheese, herbs, toppings, etc. then grill that till it's bubbling, assemble and eat. Sadly, he's dairy intolerant, so I'll have to eat most of it, hehehehe.

Cheese has 1 carb per oz, not much but for many dairy doesn't mix.

You're welcome! It's super easy and tastes so good and is really fast to make. I love it! Sorry to hear your sweetie is dairy intolerant; but yes, more for you!

Thanks for the correction.

I feel sorry for people who can't eat dairy. My sister is both wheat and dairy intolerant - it makes her very, very sick. The poor thing.

Oh, gotcha! I'm very lucky that I can eat cheese and still lose weight.
