Default Warts

I know, kind of a gross topic, but I really wanted to share this low carb potential miracle.

I had a wart on my finger for over a year and a half. I've been back on Atkins since about May 16 and the wart has started shrinking after my first week of induction. As of today it is almost completely gone - I can barely see or feel it.

I'm wondering if this has happened to others. I have read the theory that cancer is fed by sugar, and since warts are a type of tumor, maybe it is the same theory that low carb is starving the wart. Or maybe it is just an immune boost fighting the wart virus after going low carb.

I wish! I've had a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot for years. Warts often disappear on their own. I remember I had one on a finger that eventually went away.

Warts are generally fungal in nature. When you are eating low carb - its void of fungal causing foods (for the most part - mushrooms exception)

If you have a wart (of any kind) you are having trouble getting rid of, check for a product called "Thuya". I used it on my son who had tons of warts up on warts.

Took one week. They have never returned and it has been almost 5 yrs since.

Human papilloma virus (HPV) causes warts on the hands/feet. It's viral, not fungal.

fungal in nature

Caused by virus, thrive in a fungal environment (wet environments)

I have been on a low carb diet and agreesively treated my plantar and finger warts with over the counter salicidic acid. I treated for two months and then stopped. 7 months later j noticed the plantar wart was gone ( I had had this wart for over 25 years) and the finger wary is almost gone -I have had that for over 30 years. As a bonus a tooth infection I had is also gone! So glad I did not pull that tooth out as directed by my dentist. I believe that the low carb diet is the reason why my health issues are resolved. Just want to encourage any wart sufferers out there. I know the pain and embarrasment. I treated them so many times. I believe the diet is what helped combined with the daily treatment with the wart mess.
