Cream! The heaviest you can find If it's to thick, try adding a little water.

A good rule of thumb is that the higher the fat content of a food the lower the carbs; this applies to dairy products.

Thumbs down Cans!

Look in the dairy aisle of your grocery store. Whipping cream is 35% fat, heavy cream 18% - it should come in a carton just like milk does. HINT: buy the big carton, you'll be using a lot of this stuff

Talking Hi Luisa

First of all Welcome to the site .. there are alot of knowledgeable people here ...

As for your question about cream or half and half .. for cerial, I use unsweetened soymilk (with a touch of splenda, or artificial sweetener), or a product that I found in a health food store here in Wisconsin .. called Keto-milk .. both are the consistancy of milk, and gives the feeling of milk with cerials ..

Just had to put my 2 cents worth in ..
Hope to see you floating around ... and again -- welcome!!!

Thank you both so much!
I went out and I bought the whipping cream and it was ok with my yummy "flax plus" cereal.
Thanks again!

Hey, I want to add something that can be a treat once you are out of induction. Use the heavy whipping cream in place of milk when making sugar free pudding. It actually turns into a mousse. I realize there are a few carbs, however it is a wonderful treat and you don't need to eat but a few spoonfuls as it is filling. Enjoy.

Ive been using Half and Half. I was at the grocer's yesterday and the half and half and heavy cream had the same carb count on the package so I figured I would get the half and half since you get double the amount for the same price....
