Hi All, I have a few questions...

First, about aspertame. I read on other boards how it is bad for you and should be avoided. I've all kinds of nasty things about like it causing brain damage?? In their books Atkins, Sommers, Swarzbein do not recommend it. However the authors of SB seem to think it is OK. They say that it has gotten a bad rap from its competitors.

Also, does anyone know of a brand of sf ice cream. Or where I can find a recipe? I looked at Dryers but it has Maltodrextrin (sp) in it, isn't that a sugar?

One more...what is agave and where can I find it? I heard it can be used in place of honey.
