Default insomnia when Low carbing

Doing induction at the moment and just cant sleep ie til 2-3am. wondering if its just that I have more energy than am expending or simply a side effect whatever it is it driving me nuts. Anyone else have probs with this? and if so how did you stop it. I have a 2 yr old so its not like I can rest during the day

Smile Same here!!

Ive been back to low carbing for about three weeks now and sleep is very light on.

I'm thinking it must be the extra energy. I'm even finding that I wake up feeling refreshed....well more refreshed than before.

Before it would take me until midday to get my brain out of the fog!!!

Cheers Cheley.

i've also heard someone recommend magnesium and potassium supplements for insommnia. these minerals are depleted easily on low carb so it's worth a try.
