Hi,

I followed the advise on how to attach a picture (in my Journal) , and realize it comes out as a link...etc. The problem is that when I click the link, I just get a blank page, and cant see the picture.

Did I do something wrong, or is my computer just weird?

I was able to view the picture just fine ... gorgeous blue dress by the way Maybe your browser is just slow today, and taking a long time to download images?

I still can't see my pictures or the picture you posted, though. I don't understand why...

I don't think its just my browser running slow... The page says its "done" loading...but it's just a blank white page. When I reload it, the same thing happens again.

hmm...

Do you have a firewall installed? The settings on them can prevent downloading images.

I had the same problem, HAD being the key word there... and it was really bumming me out, because there are such greta attachments and signature pics on here...... after an ENTIRE day of looking for various reasons and changing this after this after that.... I IGNORED hubby's advice that it wasn't my firewall doing it... and disabled it temporarily... then refreshed the page I was on, and VOILA there was the attachment!~ If this happens to you... check the settings on your firewall... i am running Nortons.

I've tried everything, and still just a blank page. I also use Norton's antivirus/firewall, so I figured that might be my problem too. I disabled it, refreshed the pages a couple times, and still nothing. I guess I'll just be "imageless". Oh well, at least everything else works. I can see the avatars...etc.

The thing you need to turn off is the privacy thingy... danged if I can remember what hubby called it tho...ok...I can figure this out... I looked, it is under privacy control, in the main configurations... that is click on the globe... and go to privacy control, and unclick it... that should do it~!
p.s. I just went and clicked it... enable privacy., and when the page refreshed... no pics.... then unchecked it... and taaa daaaaa they are back again... if you want to see the pics, perhaps you could just disable that feature when you visit here...
