Good luck to you and I’ll try and climb back on that wagon instead of it running me over. Lol

Haha...glad to see I'm not alone.

I've been doing good this time. I'm down almost 20 lbs and no thoughts if bailing out.

Hello, I am also right here with you. It’s been off and on (very little on- 2 weeks at most). 7 years since it was a complete way of life. We can do this.

I just started again after a three year break. I’m another one of those all-or-nothing types. Let’s do it together. Atkins Redux!

You all can definitely do it!! I have fallen off the wagon WAY too many times over the years, but getting back to low-carb again repeatedly afterwards is probably the only reason I did not develop diabetes.

Now, I find it helps me to be mindful of eating enough fat and savory foods. I recall Dr. Atkins wrote about eating luxuriously, enjoying butter and macadamia nuts, etc. It also helps me to focus on the favorite things I CAN eat, like bacon and pork chops. Recently, a friend at work spoke every day for a solid week about a new ice cream flavor. In the old days, I would have felt compelled to try (in mass quantities) that flavor. This time, when she talked, I would just think “I would rather have a rib-eye.”
