Default MCT and Coconut Oil on Maintenance

Has anyone found MCT oil or coconut oil helpful in maintenance? I've been using it in my morning coffee, one tablespoon of each, and I'm not sure if it's helping me. I'm a little concerned about adding the extra 220 calories a day. What have you found?

I've never tried it, but I throw coconut oil in my coffee if I think it'll be a while before I get a chance to eat. Do you feel anything different from it? More energy? Lower appetite?

When I'm taking it I feel a surge of energy, but I also feel that it makes me a little bit hungrier. I've stopped taking it since I posted because I was up a few pounds and didn't know if it could be the culprit. I'm back down now and will probably try it again. When you use it in your coffee do you find it holds you over, or are you hungrier?

I'd say it holds me over longer. It definitely doesn't make me hungry. It makes my chapped lips feel good, too.

I love the taste.
