I know the feeling - I gave up for 2 years (14 years ago) and then stupidly went back to it again and I definitely WON'T be doing that again

I quit smoking on 9/3/2003, when I started atkins and first 3 days to the first week, (It peeked at the 3rd day) I did have cravings. However after the first week, its been smooth sailing... (I know it has to be the excessive water I was drinking ) And, besides, I blamed the cravings on the sugar withdrawl

Its day #40 and I have no desire whatsoever to go back the way I was with cigarrettes...

Now, that some of my olfactory neurons have regenerated.. I can now "smell" second hand smoke... and it doesnt smell good...
