That's why I loved the first book CAD. I ate whatever I wanted for my rm and I still lost weight. I teeter back and forth between the CAD and the HLP. I take a lot of vitamins so it helps a lot. I'd like to lose 2 lbs a week. I'm hoping to break 200 this week.. tomorrow is my official weigh in day. I can't weigh every day.. I weigh usually once on Wednesday and again on Sunday.

Have a great time at the shore - I have inlaws in that area, and love it when I get to visit.
Best wishes for a good result at your weigh in.

My sister went home early. She had hip surgery 2 months ago and was not ready for a lot of walking. We did go to Seaside but it was lousy weather so no beach. back to the old grind again..

Did I cheat? maybe.. I'll be back on plan by tomorrow.

Hi,
My visit with my sister wasn't as good as I thought because she was not able to walk well. She was 2 months out of hip surgery. So she even when home a day early due to pain.
I'm back on plan.. I worked out every day this week. Something I hadn't done in awhile. I feel a little stronger this week.

Pat congrats on 185! I hope to see that soon.

No loss this week . I was working out every day this week and I thought I'd lose weight but I think my body might be adjusting to the extra exercise.. I mean this is the first time
I worked out 5 days in a row..

Hi Mayflowers,
My weight always seems to increase by sometimes up to 4 pounds whenever I start a new exercise routine.
This happened within the last few weeks to me, as I started walking 5 miles on a regular basis, along with other more intense work outs.
I think the weight increase can be due to the body holding on to extra water which it needs to repair muscle tissue.
This is what I found when I researched this issue. It will go back down again so I hope it doesn't put you off.

So that you didn't increase at all in weight is probably a great result.
Take no notice of the weight, I think focusing on performance based goals is
better than focusing on the weight too closely as it could drive a person crazy.
All the best.

Hi Patricia
Congratulations on being in the 185's,,,your always flying it!

Thanks Mary for the info. I did cheat too while last week..so I think I gained at least a lb. I feel like I'm building muscle, and my clothes feel a little looser so I thin it may show up soon.. IF I can manage to NOT CHEAT when I go away this week. It's a spa resort, with 85 miles of hiking trails so I plan to stay really active and come back weighing less... It's a plan.
I'm a wheat addict.. (recovering) It's hard to resist cake, pastries... I'm also gluten intolerant. I can get by with 1 serving of wheat a week and that's about it. After that I get the brain fog, zombie feeling, plus headaches, joint aches, skin rashes, nausea all kick in.
