75lbs definitely calls for celebration nw!!

Started doing fitday last week along with trying to stay CAD, counting the calories are really helping me.

weightloss so far is 6lbs.

Default My Last Check In

My goal when I started this challenge 5 weeks ago was to break into the 130s by July 4th. That hasn't happened, but I've still accomplished so much! In the grand scheme of things, I've learned how to control my portions and listen to my body better which are two skills that are worth the month or so that I used to learn them. But my body has changed too since my first measurement of the challenge:

7/2/2004 vs 5/28/2004
Weight: 145, 0
Neck: 13, -1
Chest: 33.5, -.5
Chest (small): 31, 0
Bicep: 12, -1
Forearm: 9.25, -.5
Waist: 27.5, -2
Hips: 36, -1.5
Stomach: 33.5, -1.5
Top Thigh: 23, -1
Bottom Thigh: 16, 0
Calf: 15, 0
Ankle: 9, 0
Wrist: 6, 0

Even in the past week things have changed quite a bit:
7/2/2004
Weight: 145, -.5
Neck: 13, 0
Chest: 33.5, -.5
Chest (small): 31, 0
Bicep: 12, -.25
Forearm: 9.25, -.25
Waist: 27.5, -.5
Hips: 36, -.5
Stomach: 33.5, -.25

And, what you don't see in those numbers is that according to mybodycomp.com I've gone from a lean body mass of 102 pounds to 106 pounds, and from a fat mass of 43 pounds to 39 pounds. If I were to subtract those 4 pounds of fat lost from what I weighed at the start, I would be at 141, pretty darn close to the goal I was aming for. And it says that my body fat % has gone from 29.87 to 26.82.

This has really been worth it and I am going to keep up what I've been doing. I know I could have done better during this challenge (I think I probably had like 3 cheat days throughout the entire thing), but I'm pretty happy with how things are despite those days.

I hope everyone else has had as positive an experience as I have!

That is pretty good! 12 pounds in 9 weeks, I'll take it. And with only 3 pounds to get to 275 I'm feeling pretty happy right now

Ok, so whats the next challenge??? Labor day?

Happy 4th everyone...

I celebrated the holiday yesterday... Ate too much, drank too much, got too little sleep... Had a great time. When I eventually did wake up, I found myself at 213, 3 pounds away from my goal for this challenge. But hey, this breaks my three week mini-stall, so I'm happy to see movement.
