Default Finding Christmas Spirit Challenge

I have noticed many people mentioning the empty feeling of this holiday season, being so commercial, not being able to get into the spirit etc...
I was doing some shopping the other day and everyone, even the clerks, were grumpy, tired, stressed,unhappy, including myself...
So I made the conscious decision to be the change lol
I thought this would be a good place to share our random acts of kindness;
Yesterday I helped a senior load her groceries into her car
Today I bought the guy behind me coffee in the drive through.
I am also smiling and saying hi, it does make a difference....

What a lovely idea Robyn! Thanks for the suggestion.

I was raised that one should do one's acts of kindness privately (so that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing) so I'm not sure I feel entirely comfortable posting my own acts of kindness but you HAVE inspired me to try to do a few more! And, I will happily keep my eyes open to note and comment here on other people's random acts of kindness! I do think there is more kindness "out there" than we sometimes notice.

I so agree, it's part of the whole idea of "random act" that it's not expected and anonymous, but because people seem to be having a hard time getting into the spirit I thought "sharing" might help...I also strongly believe that there is more good out there than we know, but there can always be more, we can always DO more
