bad news....i spied the julians paleo coconut flour wraps and bought them on a whim.
i knew Julian's has a terrible history of incorrect labeling, but the ingredients are basically just coconut flour and oil, neither of which impacts my blood sugar.

i have eaten one 2 days now and my blood sugars jumped 60-70 points
Will give them one more shot, before i chuck them.

today:
chicken, swiss, lettuce, dill spread on coconut wrap
sf jello
wasabi seaweed crisps

diet cherry 7-up

60-70 points is a lot after one meal, isn't it...
Give us your report next time. Maybe the rumors are true?

Your lunch sounds great Robin!

it is a lot- so in the trash they went! (my blood sugar will go much higher than a non type I diabetic, but that is because your body is producing insulin to counteract it.....my body can't. Meanwhile, remember that insulin is a fat storing hormone, so your blood sugar will not fluctuate like mine, but what might happen....?). I would avoid these wraps!

yesterday was leftover grilled lemon shrimp (yum!), a round of jarlesberg and a babybel, a cup of carrot soup, and wasabi seaweed snacks.

today:
a jarlesberg and a babybel
bed of lettuce, a steamed egg, and a scoop of hummus- will dress with champagne vinaigrette or apple cider vinaigrette
wasabi seaweed snacks and sf strawberry jello for snacks
diet lemonade

Today I had a favourite for when I'm in work - a salad with feta cheese, olives, salami, and Mayo. So good and really satisfying.
