Workouts this week have been walking, jogging, and hiking. When the weather has been nice we've been going to the new park that branches off to hilly dirt trails since the foothill hiking trails are still closed because of the snow.

I'm starting on a C25K with a friend who wants to get into running. I have a 5k coming up in May so the practice would be good to get back on running track. I really need to step up my game.

Steps for the past week:

Yesterday:

* Run/walk at the park.

Today:

*Hilly hike

The greenbelt is flooded so the run wasn't as constant as I'd have liked. Also, DS wasn't having it because he wanted to run in another area.

I need to get back to yoga....

Today: 8,313 so far. I will hit 10k!

We've decided that we're going to start hiking at that "hill" at least once a week. My calves are KILLING me and I really miss the experience and outdoorsiness of it. That's one of the reasons I'm hesitant about moving - there's so much to do outside (and unfortunately so much cottonwood.... ).

I've been crappy about keeping this updated.

I've done a lot of gardening, yard work, and occasional run/walks.

* 5K with my 4 year old (14-16 minute mile - didn't get an exact start time so I'm going to error on the longer side).
* Walked to the store, half carrying a 4 year old - kind of like the 5K

Up to 13,000 steps already.

Working out, other than yard work, is DONE for the day!!!!
