Default "mexican" sour cream - yum omg

As a veteran sour cream consumer I've been intrigued by the type of sour cream chipolte used.
Turns out that you can buy it at most larger grocery stores (in my area at least) and it is soooooo good. It much creamer and with slightly less of a sour taste than regular sour cream. I could eat it with a spoon.
States on the label the carb count is lower as well.

Had to share.

Do you have a brand name? or do the labels say "Mexican?"

Thanks.

that's what the brand looks like and the label, but its for cheese not sour cream.

I guess people use it for dessert topping as well!

It sounds like Creme Fraiche.

Do you find this with the regular hard cheeses or by the sour cream cottage cheeses?

Does it go by another name?

Thank you.

jeez I'm not sure, I'll double check today. I'm going to the grocery store. Its definitely in the dairy- cheese/sour cream area.

You can find it labeled "Table Cream" or "Crema" and here in Texas it can be with cheeses OR with sour creams. Just depends on the store.

Usually, I've seen the bottles with a red and green label and it's a white plastic cylinder container.

What she said
(It was pretty much in between the cheese and the sour cream section)
