I dont dispute it is possible.
I'll say the effect of ketones in reducing carb intake on a high carb diet would be modest at best, to the point it's not worth trying ketones.

Exogenous ketones sound interesting to me.

But high carb diet ?

I'm out.

I'd guess the same thing. I'm just saying I don't know the same thing.

Please read this article too on myths about the Keto lifestyle:

Another point as remembered from a Dom A'gastino interview...not only do exogenous ketones NOT impact weight loss, their effect is short-lived. You have to drink a bunch of it on a regular basis to see a continuously elevated reading.

But anyway...On a FB page that is focused on Ketogenic Cooking, people have mentioned being hounded by KetoOS salespeople, friends begging them to buy the stuff as need the money, getting follow-up high pressure calls from "the manager" next level above, sleazy tactics...innocent me was shocked by what I read. I am careful about hiding names and emails, but these KetoFest, KetoCon events sadly are turning into sales events for this useless junk. Be careful making contact with any of these companies.

I absolutely do detest how the stuff is marketed. When it first came out, for months I couldn't search for ketogenic lectures on youtube without the first 5 or 6 pages being their spam.

How true, and I've been duped twice by these hucksters getting me to sign up to these "events" thinking they are a group of experts sharing low carb methods and experiences. There's a formula for these types of events where it's all done by video conference interviews of the named "experts" and there is no venue where everyone gathers like some of the legitimate conference videos we've been able to view from South Africa, Breckenridge, Miami, etc. I'll stay away from these "events" that are mainly contact gathering efforts for those marketing products or services with little substance gleaned from the interviews.
