Thanks Barb, Winnie! Barb, yep, I know that movie. I'm a red-blooded American, Winnie, next set of pix will be taken next Sat. am., and I'm really excited to see the changes! I can see stuff happening in the mirror; hopefully it'll transfer to photos.

As for the Imitrex, I'm only going to use it in cases of dire need--since I have to pump and dump my milk for 24hrs after, trying to explain to my little one why he can't nurse -- yikes. But, it's better than suffering in bed all day and night, with head pain so bad the only relief is sleep. It's almost worth any potential sides, I think. (crosses fingers)

Hi JJ, Deb! Had a pretty busy weekend--a Dane Playday on Sat., and lunch at the MIL's on Sunday, plus gardening, housework, etc. So slacked on the weekend posting,

I *think* TOM is due to arrive soon--still unpredictable due to breastfeeding.

Weather has been strange--sunny in the morning, stormy afternoons. Yesterday I did manage to plant spinach, carrots, radishes, as well as fertilize my strawberry bed and spray the roses for aphids. Today I want to get peas planted. We'll see....it's already looking grey out!

Weather everywhere has been screwy. We got an unexpected frost last night...I'm hoping it didn't damage anything.

Thanks for your comments in my gym log at TOP. I know what I'm doing is not great, but for now it's the best I can motivate myself to do. I'm hoping to maintain, as you suggested, and get the fat off and not be depressed over what's there.

Ha Deb! Oh man, you guys had frost? It's been a little chilly here, but hopefully we're past that.

Woke up today feeling pretty lean, then and went and stepped on the scale-weight is up again, 158.0 It's either TOM related (which isn't here yet but overdue) or I'm a thermodynamic miracle.

Rainy today, bleh! I did manage to get more seeds planted yesterday though, so I'm happy, but I'd still like to get lettuce in the ground today.

Ahhhh Got up 3 times in the night to pee, and this morning I'm back down to 155.8, so HOPEFULLY I'll get a new low tomorrow. I want the new low for the math's sake, but really it doesn't matter--on paper it looks like this last week of PSMF didn't do much for me, but in the flesh, I am seeing new definition. SO, something's shifting around. I took measurements at the start of this cycle, so it'll be interesting to compare to tomorrow's.

Tomorrow and Sunday I am eating refeed/free day (tomorrow is refeed, but also having a slice of pizza, a brownie, and a mini ice cream cone, so fat may be slightly higher than real refeed level, and Sunday is Vienna), but then gonna be maintenance for the next week after.

For my maintenance week I already have some good stuff planned--sourcream pork w/noodles, rhubarb crumble w/van ice cream, crispy-skinned chicken thighs w/jasmine rice (made with butter), scrambled eggs with cheese, mmmmmmm fat,

Hi dane!

You are doing GREAT! How many times have you gone through your plan...looks like 7 weeks, then a break?

Your maintenance menu is making me hungry (I haven't even had breakfast yet!). I wouldn't mind having some of those meals!

I think of you every time I do my workout. Thank you for your support. I'm making progress, that's for sure. And of course, just when my plan gets sort of do-able, it calls for more challenges.

Have a great day!

Barb

Hi Barb, JJ!

New low today, just in time to end the PSMF--154.8. I've now lost over 70#, and am only 10# from goal, yayness!

Took progress pix today, which I need to resize and put with the others side-by-side, then I'll post them up. This time the changes are SO obvious to me; I'm so pleased!!

Yep, 7 weeks this time (supposed to only do 6, but oh well). I also did it for 3 weeks just before Xmas so I could enjoy the holidays, then for a few weeks in Jan-Feb.

Heehehe JJ! Got my hooks today in the mail--gonna test 'em out later.

Gotta catch up in here!! Saturday I tried to come in here and upload my progress pix, but the site was down. Then Sunday, I went on a day trip to Vienna with my MIL and her Ladies' Group--we had a GREAT time. Didn't get home until after 9pm though,

Anyway, I ate fun food on Saturday, and yesterday I brought my own good eats, plus of course had a slice of Zacher torte in a Viennese café. Puts me this morning at 160.0 *burp*

My plan for the next 10 days or so is to take my required diet break, which is calories around maintenance level, normal protein, normal fat, carbs at or above 120g daily. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to follow a strict outline for this or not yet. Going to lift this week and next in a 4 day push/pull split, using waveloading, to try and increase strength in all the major lifts (plus it's fun ).

Here're my stats for coming off the PSMF:

xxxxx....................Start (Mar 1).................End (Apr 19)..........Change
Weight...................170#................................155........ .........-15
Bust (bra line).........32in...................................31................. .-1
Waist.....................31.....................................28..... .............-3
Abs (navel).............37.....................................33.5......... .....-3.5
Hips.......................35.....................................34.... ..............-1
Butt......................38.5...................................38..... .............-0.5
Thigh....................21ea..................................20.5ea... ..........-0.5ea
Calf......................13.....................................13.5... ...............0
Bicep relax.............10.5..................................10.5............ ......0
Bicep flexed............11.5..................................11.5............ ......0

FINALLY the crap around my torso is leaving!!!!!!!!

Now for the pix--I still have about 10 pounds left to lose, and you can see where, but in general I'm pretty pleased with they way it's turned out. I still have 8.5 weeks before my FL trip, so I should be able to hit my ultimate goal by then.

Pix a bit big because I had to switch photo hosting sites and haven't figured out yet how to make them a bit smaller--but oh well.

I'll be putting them in my gallery, too. Please keep in mind I am old and have had 3 babies!
