Mary,
Oh, this sounds wonderful! Please explain what the blue cheese butter is. I'd like to grill with it tonight. Thanks in advance! Annie-Pie

Default Steak with Blue Cheese Butter

Steak with Blue Cheese Butter
1 London broil (about 1 1/2 pounds)
1/2 cup dry red wine
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup (2 ounces) blue cheese crumbles
1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives

Place meat in large reclosable plastic bag. In 1-cup liquid measure, combine wine, oil, Worcestershire, garlic, and seasoned salt. Pour over meat; seal bag and turn to coat meat. Marinate in refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours. In small bowl, blend butter, blue cheese, and chives. Place steak on grid over medium-hot heat; grill for 5 to 8 minutes per side or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 145°F. for medium-rare. Let meat rest for 10 minutes; cut across grain into thin slices. Serve with blue cheese butter.

Please feel free to check My Journal. When I make something new that I create I try to write it all down and figure the carb count. I find I am enjoying trying to create things my family will enjoy when I am with them.

Will have to try the McCormick Grill Mates spices. Sounds good to me. Anything with a 0 carb rating I will at least try once.
