I try to drink nothing but water. Those diet sodas contain aspartame and I'm afraid of the effects But good luck!

Thumbs up GRREEAATTT!!!

Armatur, C-U-Lean and Wannabeski!!!! YEAAHHH!! That's awesome everyone!!! Glad to hear that it has worked for people that are BOLD enough to try it!!!!

Barbm- I would say stick with water and stay away from those diet drinks. That MAY have something to do with your stall as well. Just try plain water with the egg fast and see what the difference makes, if any. Good lUck!!!!

YOU GUYS INSPIRE ME!!!!!!!!

Default Hi!

aznlily68, I wouldn't try the egg fast until you really know that you are in an actual stall...that means that you have cut out the things that could be CAUSING the stall. SF candies and other "LC" products are known to cause stalls in some people. Just like some people stall from cheese and nuts when those are things that are allowed on the lc plan.

Please only try the eggfast after you have taken out these things and seen if it makes a difference. Use any of the fasts or "refeeds" ONLY if you are in a true stall.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Default AWESOME!

The egg fast was the best thing I ever did. It was kind of hard and I did only make it through a day and a half but I lost about 2 1/2 pounds and I have been losing since then. I was around 180-181 and I'm now at 175 I hadn't been losing anything before the egg fast, so it really helped for me. Thanks SO much Tesia!

thanx so much for your advice!
and im going to take it!!!
i wont start the egg fast until i cut out all the "LC luxaries" (bars, sf things)
If that doesnt work, i'll go to the extreme.....the egg fast
but i really wanna try to egg fast!!!
its like a diet within a diet.
like starting another atkins within the atkins program
i dunno, it feels good to have barriers and restrain myself
THANX SO MUCH! and i'll tell you how everything goes!!

Question

I started egg fast today after cheating for days on end. I'm not much of an egg fan but i will try it. For breakfast one egg will do, and for lunch 2 hard boiled eggs, not sure about dinner yet though. I dont like mayo, and this does seem like i will be not eating nearly enough calories. Can someone please give me some advice on how to add a bit more calories, and how many eggs should i be eating not to go in starvation mode?

Exclamation Egg fast

You should eat more than 1000 calories. Since you don't like mayo, it might be kind of hard for you to get those calories in. If you fried the eggs, you could cook them in oil or butter and that would help some. And you really need to eat more than one or two eggs per meal. An egg is only 70 calories, so eat up! You don't want to go into starvation mode Good luck to you

Thanks for info. Damn i messed up on first day. Was doing great until about 10pm when appetite kicked in. I had one egg for breakfast, 2 for lunch, and i was not hungry at all until 10pm when i ate an atkins muffin. Guess i'm gonna start over today. So far 3 eggs this morning with butter, and gonna have 3 eggs for lunch.

Thumbs up

So far, so good. I weighed in yesterday ~ 192 and today the scale had gone back down to 189.

I think the real secret to the eggfast is you don't eat the eggs until you are truely HUNGRY - mostly b/c the thought of another egg is enough to make you unless you are really hungry

I hope this works and I am able to keep myself on track again

Hey Shell Seems like something's telling you to try this! I promise you it works, it did for me anyway. I'm even doing it right now. I'm just getting through my first day. Can't wait to check the scale tomorrow and let ya'll know how it's going I can also tell that I'm back in Ketosis (I cheated a few days ago) because I have that metallic-like taste in my mouth. WOOHOO! I only plan on doing this for two days and then on to a very strict induction with lots more vegetables. Wish me luck as I wish you all the best of luck too! Let me know how it goes Shell
