Hi ALL YEA CHRISSIE on ANY LOSS !

I like the idea of the celebration chart on the first post too. ANYONE wanting to go back and find them for each game and do that, then be my guest

PAULETTIE.. yea on minimal pain!!! GREAT!!! Weight will hang on for a little bit.

HAPPY about BRADY doing well again! That had to be scary. SOUNDS like all is going on the right direction! YEA

Back is achy but can sit for a bit now at least.Carl & I getting colds.. wonderful. Leaving first thing THursday morning after Jodi get s home from work which gets us to SO.Fl by mid to late afternoon G-D WILLING!!!
Went to the deputy probate commish that sat in the meeting with the judge and I last month. Her draw fell open for a LONG TIME! She could not understand why they did not issue what I wanted and kept flipping the pages and instructions. SO, she will make a call ( get no place) and then ask the judge to waive all the certificates and issue a name change whic only repeats the already legal name change I had done 2001! What fun He is not in today of course so I will wait to hear from her.

More rain today and tomorrow and this is rediculous. As long as I am not drivinging bad weather I am fine!!!

CRICKLET - I wish you good luck getting things straightened out. What a pain in the a$$.

ED went to the store today and found the most wonderful buy on chicken leg quarters today. Only 50¢/lb! He got 10 lbs! I had him get me some flax meal so I can make a MIM later today.

My spinach was not looking good, so instead of a salad, I salvaged what leaves I could and made chicken soup with spinach, celery and some of our yellow snap beans we had grown in our garden over the summer. Just a clove of garlic and a couple tsp of dried onion, too. And a couple sprigs of my fresh rosemary which I grew from seeds last spring! The plant is still doing well sitting on my kitchen window! I made enough for 2 servings. Total of 8 carbs & 2 fibers for each serving. Amazing how veggies and herbs add up carb-wise. Most people don't even count spice carbs, but I do. They DO add up! The onion is the carbiest. I only put 2 tsp in the pot to keep the carbs down to a minimum.

CHRISSIE - only .1 down today, so I REALLY hope tomorrow lets you see a bigger drop! You are trying so hard, you will be rewarded soon. I seem to remember not long ago you suddenly had a couple whooshies in a row. As long as you are on plan, you will see a drop eventually. And remember how very CLOSE you are to goal!!!

I am starting to feel cramps now so I took 2 of my pills. I am going to try and take a nap now. I was hoping to just use ibuprofen, but I don't want to feel the cramps! Perhaps tomorrow I shall be able to use ibuprofen only.

stupid groundhog! what happened to that early spring he was chattering about
schools decided on an early dismissal as the weather is getting worse by the hour. when this happens the afternoon shift (that's me!) doesn't have to report in at all, so here i am

Good Morning everyone... My Family could use some prayers. My dad was admitted into the hospital last night with a high fever of 105 and kidney failure. At this time he is stable and they are doing cat scans, MRI's. I don't know much more than that. I have a sister that is there with my parents and is letting us all know if and when we need to fly out. My dad is amazing he is cracking jokes told me to stay home and he will see me in August.

Oh Cricket that is so aggravating all the hoops you have to jump through. I know when I had to renew my passport years ago. I had to go through a legal change of name the divorce wasn't good enough I was like WTH...At least there was a loss on the scale...Good Job Now you have a bloody cold. I hope it doesn't make you miserable on your trip.

Paulette... Glad you are moving around, I had to laugh at 10 pounds of hindquarters. I shop a lot at a wholesale store and I get my Pork roasts in 20# packages and cut it down to size I know I can save a lot of money that way. Yes I have been back and in induction since Jan5th. I did do what I thought was a mini stall. The bloody scale didn't go down for almost 9 days and actually went up. What boosted me through that time was I did get into a pair of jeans I couldn't before lol My Weather we don't have winter. It rains, then snows, then sleets, then rains again so it all freezes at night and we start all over. Heck our rivers are opening up. They have already said flooding watch in some areas..



Kathy... I am always amazed at how fast you can take weight off. Dang I am so jealous. Nope I didn't get as much done as I wanted to and the "easy" way to bind a quilt sucks so I am doing it the way I learned with Miter corners and all dang thing.

Chrissie...I do understand the frustration. How can you eat at Texsa roadhouse the menu must be so different that we have up here? Another thing to be jealous of... Dang it. I also quit eating that take out broasted chicken since they have added carbs in the seasonings. sneaky things. You will wake up one day and find you have dropped all of this. Aren't you close to goal also?

Himi...Great job on the scales looking forward to getting to know you

Barb... I am glad to hear about Brady not sure who he is... I also am looking forward to getting to know you also.

Hi PAULETIE~~~ TWOhyedrocodone?? ?? Not just a nap.. a deep snooze BTW.... you can take one of the hydrocodone 12.5 mg/325mg WITH one Ibuprophen. WOrks well and is not overdoing a thing. Physician approved if they THINK In fact, one Ibuprophen and one extra 500mg acetaminophen are a golden combo and really safe .They work in different elemination systems and on different types of pain together. Hope you feel better ... it is going to be a bit of time to get back to feeling good. Take the resting seriously. FEEL BETTER Salads just do not appeal to me at all and the veggies are minimal and actually not a one this week I only count the total crb MINUS the fiber now and am happy. With so few vegggies it really does not matter. THE PECANS are ALL FAT! 1 NC per 1/4 cup so I am enjoying a few a day as a nibble one at a time. I think I will soak some in caramel sf syrup for a topping to MIM and abit of whipped cream

Hi RAINS... I see you are still on here and will miss your post but will catch up MORE LOSSES I think

CHRISSIE: .. I would be HAPPY I would be happy not to go in just to be turned around!! AND A LOSS IS A LOSS. AND A NO GAIN IS A WIN AND A GAIN IF ON PLAN IS FLUX!!!ALL AGAIN, going to mention CNS to you. NOT for everyone here but I think it will help you.

KATHYKINS BINGO QUEEN PARTY KID! Hope you are resting. Small losses for you is not the norm. Tired? Could be that.

SO I reweighed down not up and I guess Thursday will be the day I pay attention to the most. It would have been my CN so this way if I go by that weight I can see how i did in the normal time frame. After this w/e change in dates i want to get back to the original date and it is doable IF I have CN this SAT.Then Paulette and I will again be on te same days. JODI will have to always change hers one day up or down for work schedules so not going to sync with her!

Hi RAINS...BRADY is BARB'S grandson that recently had tonsilectomy

I will pray for your dad to be out of pain and discomfort and heal quickly to return home .

THE TOTAL CHARTS AND RED LINES ARE NOW ALL LOW CARB AND NOT JUST ATKINS..SINCE THERE ARE MULTIPLE ATKINS PLANS USED AND NOW THE CNS (which is pretty darn close to Atkins as far as I am seeing)...SO PLEASE DO UPDATE BOTH LINES...TOP is for the beginnng of the games tiems line and the bottom is for all over loss totals

CHRISSIE - I also agree with Cricket. You should start doing CNS with us. It will allow you to get away from the humdrum low carb which you seem to be so sick of. It has renewed me. I think it will do wonders for you. You really need a change. And since you are so DARN close to goal, you can have fun getting rid of those last 8 lbs in a manner you will really enjoy! At least for one night out of the week.

RAINS - 1st of all, congrats on the loss! 2nd, I am SO SORRY to hear about your Dad!! I truly hope he pulls through this!

CRICKLETY - My Hydros are only 5mg with 325mg acetaminophen, so 2 put me to sleep quite goodly, but did not knock me to the ground. I am still sore, but not cramping. My guts are rumbling and gurgling up a storm, though! Because of the veggies, I guess. With that MIM I am going to eat, I will have a load of fiber in there to gurgle around with! Oh yeah, I took Milk of Magnesia last night and THAT is probably what is making me gurgle so much! I hope your back is feeling better - I feel bad for you having to drive like that. You will need multiple pit stops to stretch.

Ed baked a pork tenderloin for our dinner! I love him so. I will make that MIM in about an hour. I will have a good day at 1234 calories and 10 net carbs. And I get to copy this day tomorrow! If I like that MIM, I may eat one in the morning with my coffee as you suggested, Crick.

DRINK lots of fluids after the MIM!! Or it will block you up

I take 1.5- 2 of the higher dose when things get bad!Usually the one w/ the ibuprophen is good Not that you need these things thank heavens! MAY YOU NEVER NEED THEM!

My back is like my nick name from you CRICKETY LOL! Not planning to stop at all but maybe one time to restroom with Jodi.

Have to make sure the rental car has good seats! We are getting it tomorrow evening..will be a run around day.. Jodi's P/U needs to go back for repair completion so I am following her there in the morning and coming back here... then late afternoon ( she has to work) we go to town to get rental and she takes my car to work and I take the rental...oh for musical cars game! At least i can get my stuff packed that evening and be done.

weigh in late again when we get back from repair place.

MIM = Muffin in a Minute. Made with flax meal, an egg and a little baking powder. I just made mine and sweetened it with WF pancake syrup and cinnamon. It turned out pretty good! A bit dry, but heck, what can you expect from flax meal.

I do think I will make one with my coffee in the morning. The coffee will help wash it down.

seems high in total carbs to me tho

at texas roadhouse i get a ribeye, a side salad (no croutons), and ranch dressing.....less than 5 carbs for the whole meal
