7/28/2015 281 lbs A little more progress, one more pound and I will be half way to my goal. Still trying to stay on my schedule of intermittent fasting and HFLC, only eating between 1pm & 6pm. After a day of rest, today I will do some weight lifting just before eating Lunch.

7/29/2015 282 lbs I was hoping to get into the 270's before August, but it doesn't look like it will happen, although it is still possible. Yesterday, everything was going fine on my forth day of intermittent fasting. I did some weight lifting around 1pm, just before eating. However when it came time for my final meal around 6pm I went out to KFC for dinner. From time to time I am still susceptible to slips as old bad habits are still there. I guess this rant is a way for me to give voice to my constant fear of slipping back to my old WOE. While it is encouraging to look back at the progress of the last 5 months, it is frustrating to see the slow pace of weight loss. I know I need to be patient but there are times when I feel the need for instant gratification. In addition it is frustrating to have lost over 50 lbs and still look out of shape. I'm hoping the weight lifting I've started doing will change that. Hope this rant wasn't too boring and that you all are in better spirits. Good Luck to all.

7/30/2015 282lbs. One thing I've notice with my IF is that just before I break the fast and eat a meal ~ 1pm I am experiencing a lot of hunger. I then have a large meal ~ 1pm and another large meal ~6pm. Today I am going to try smaller meals ~ both times and add more fat to both and see if this reduces my hunger.

Congratulations floridadad! Making it halfway is wonderful! I stopped weighing myself daily because I would get overly upset if I didn't lose anything or if I gained. Instead, I just weigh and take my measurements once a week. (The only thing I do daily is my blood sugar.) The measurements have actually shown more progress than my weight, so they have been my savior. Since I am exercising this time around (this is my 4th and last try at LC), something I never included in my other attempts, it makes sense that my measurements are showing more improvements than my weight. If you aren't already doing measurements maybe try it and see if it helps to encourage you when the scale isn't being nice.

Thanks, I have not taken any measurements for a while, but have noticed looser clothes.

08/03/2015 281lbs Yesterday I increased my fat in an effort to break out of a stall. I think I added too much. Adding fat also adds calories and I think after loosing 55lbs since Feb my body now needs fewer calories. I will cut back some today and see what happens.

Cool

08/04/2015 Ate one large meal at 1pm and had a large plate of Arugula with melted butter on top at 6pm. I also exercised before the 1pm meal.

08/06/2015 278lbs Only had one meal yesterday, after weight lifting around 2pm. Today I am having extreme hunger pains. I'm not sure if it's from eating less yesterday or from the hard exercise session or both. I'm hoping the hunger goes away, but I'm fighting the urge to go out and buy a big meal at a restaurant. I'm going to drink a lot of water and see if that helps.

08/07/2015 278lbs. I was on the road most of today and had BF & L at fast food restaurants, hope it doesn't show up in tomorrow's weight.

08/08/2015 Today I plan to clean a couple of rooms in the house and do some weight lifting before my 1pm meal.

Unhappy

08/09/2015 Up 1 lb. I didn't weight lift yesterday as cleaning the two rooms I picked was more than enough exercise. Have been stalled in the high 270's for about a week. Waiting for my body to adjust to this level. Hope to see some downward movement soon. Thinking of some possible changes to my routine.
