At 150 lbs, I am wearing a size 10 slacks and medium top. Pre-LC, 150 lbs. would have had me in a size 14 slacks and large top.

When I get to goal, I project that I will be in a size 8. My goal is the same weight I was in high school, and I was wearing size 12 slacks back then... go figure!

The first time I lost 60 pounds and got to 155 I was fitting nicely in a size 12. This time I have gotten to 153 and I'm fitting a size 10 nicely. I project at my goal weight I'll be in a size 8 pant. Bra-wise my original was a high C, now I'm guessing Low B, I haven't bought new bras yet, I'm still waiting til I get to my goal.

I am only 5'3" and at 153 I can comfortably wear a size 10 pants. My breasts did change size I went from a 40DD to 36D. I can put my old bra on and the band and the cup are too big which is evidence that I have lost weight every where

This statement is so NOT true. When you lose weight/fat it can be loss anywhere you have fat on your body. At my highest weight (290) I wore a 44DD and now (253) after losing only 37 lbs I am wearing a 40D. Before gaining all of this weight I wore a 36C. The band and the cup size fluctuate with weight gain and loss. This has been my experience.

I'm 140 right now and wear a size 11 jean and I have a pair of polyester pants that are a size 13 that fit right on my hips. When I was 160 I had to go buy a pair of jeans that were a size 15 (they fit until I wore them all day then they got a little baggy). When I weighed 115 I wore a size 9. I always buy the same brand of jean because of how they fit and they have a little spandex to keep the spot in the butt from getting so loose it looks like you well...you know.

I think it really depends on the make of the jean, what materials they use and how they are supposed to fit (at the hip, past the belly button).

my bra size has changed as well. it's not true that your chest won't change at all. maybe it just depends on the person.

but this is a good question! i've read on the board where women are like 170lbs and in like a size 8 that are 5ft4. i mean, HOW? i'm 5ft4 and 170lbs would put me in a comfortable size 12.

now i'm 175 and in a size 14 pretty comfortably...and my bra size did change, tho not sure if my boyfriend is completly happy with that lol...

wow thats strange.
i'm 5'9 too and at 215 i used to wear a 14.
at 300 i usually wear a 18-20 top and 22-24 bottom.
maybe i am really dense??

oh and the bra thing is absolutely ridiculous. anyone who has breasts knows they DO change. if you dont think weight has anything to do with bra size can you explain why you never see a 300 pound woman with a 36 A???????

Okay, everyone stop what you're doing, rip off your bras, run and get your husbands, boyfriends (or the lawn boy, whichever works for you) and have them check it out....will meet back here in an hour - or five minutes, whichever is your situation and reconviene

I agree with soooo many I think that the size you wear all depends on where you store fat. I am 214.5, as of today, and I can where anything from a 13/14 to a 16.(5'6 ") I store tons of fat in my upper body and very little in my lower body. My sister is the other way around. She weighs 158(5'4") and she has larger thighs, hips, and butt and she wears a 10/12 in jeans, but a small in shirts and 6 in dresses. It's just the shape of your body. To help move the fat around, be sure to weight train to change the shape of your body. It really works!

Rachelratz--I will have to disagree with you on that one. Considering breast tissue is composed of over 50% fat tissue--(pick up any anatomy/physiology text or a women's health or gynecology text or for the layman..Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book) when an individual loses fat, breast size will shrink.

The caveat on this is that people lose fat in different places and at different times. When I start to lose I see it in my back, waist and butt first, then my arms and breasts, then my thighs last.

BTW--I'm 170 and wear a 12-14 bottom and large top.
