Yes I am 5'2 as well. I got down to 127 lbs. In 2010 via low carb but have gained about 20 back.

Down 1.4 today, newbie effect I suppose. Slept poorly and think I pulled a groin muscle so plan on being lazy today.

Mary
Have you measured?

Good morning Jean, I weigh 0.2 lb more maybe because I had a cke zero so I'll assume no change. I didn't take measurements yet but next week I will after TOM

1.4 lb loss is great, keep it up!!

I am 54 so no more TOM but in 2010 when I was at goal TOM always stalled me for a bit and then I would get the big water release after the cycle ended.

I hope I'll get a whoosh but I don't think so.
I will cut out HWC and diet coke and see how it will affect my progress!
I tried coffee with butter only today and I liked it.

I use light cream it falls between hwc and half&half. I love diet pepsi but I get ravenous after I drink it.

Trying to drink more water today. I probably don't get enough, looks like you drink a lot

Hi Jean, I'm not feeling well today. I have migraines since yesterday and I don't want to eat anyrhing I'm not going to work today and I'm thinking of having some chicken broth!! I'm not sure if it's gonna help or not, if you have any tips to help with migraines please share. A good thing is I lost 3 lbs doing meat&egg fast for 5 days even though I'm at the same weight for 3 days. I want to give it some more time so what do you think?
Also would like to tell you I didn't drink much water yesterday because of the migraines and I had 2 or 3 tablespoons of dried onion flakes which I didn't know they have 15g carbs I'm a slow loser and I hate that, I want to do anything to speed things up.

caffeine helps my hubbys migraines.
he drinks strong coffee and take some 'for migraine' pills which also have caffeine in them...then off to a VERY dark room and lays down and waits, and sure enough, for him...he comes around within a reasonable time. not sure if that will help you but you never know.

feel better!!

Jean, in some people, diet sweeteners act just like sugar in the system. some can handle it easily, others, like you mentioning you get ravenous after a 'diet soda' might need to ditch those sweeteners. just a thought.

Thanks Karen, I didn't know about caffeine but I might give it a try as I love coffee. I had a chicken thigh and some broth but I'm still hungry. Maybe I'll be having some eggs.

eggs and strong coffee should help you I hope.

hubby gets tummy upset with migraines so a cuppa Joe and some pills is all he can handle LOL but it seems to help him...at least it lessens that migraine down to 'livable' before it leaves

Sorry you are not feeling well Mary. I hope caffeine and rest helps. I am drinking chicken broth right now as I ate late last night and want to extend my fasting a bit longer before I eat. I consider it close enough to meat it comes from a chicken! I was down .6 today and plan to eat only meat and egg today but may throw in a flaxseed muffin or the like tomorrow?

I used to use splenda in coffee and drink diet pepsi but rarely do now. Never in my coffee, the cream I use is a natural sweetener to me.Rare diet soda now as I know they act like sugar in my body but sometimes I am hard headed!
