Just popping in to say that I think these threads are very helpful, especially to new people, and I am glad to see them returning here. I know when I was starting out, I was always looking in people's journals to see what they were eating, to get ideas. It's a great idea to have these threads so that you don't have to search through journals. Just my 2 cents.

Default Which came first the chicken or the egg?

I've been there with the chicken. What I did was try as many different ways to fix it as I could find. Checkout the Kitchen forum for ideas. With just a few seasonings and ingredients you can go from Mexican to Asian. You can change the texture from boiled to baked to fried. There are web sites that let you enter a list of ingredients and it will give you recipes that use what you have. I eat a lot of deviled eggs and you can vary the recipe for those to really change the taste and texture.
