Oh? I thought the package said cooked on the pork blood.

My Asian duck was $2 a pound! They had frozen ducklings too but they're awfully small.

That Asian market makes me feel like a little kid.

Wow! No, I hadn't seen that yet. Fascinating! Things have changed hugely from even when I was a kid... although that's becoming a big stretch of time now.

Oh. I've never seen blood in a package. I was thinking of the trays of blood at the meat counter. Looks like red, muddy jelly.

I'll look more closely next time but it look like fillets of some dark organ meat and I looked closer and it said, I thought, "cooked pork blood". But you never know, I was pretty sensory overloaded so I might have gotten it wrong.

I was grinning like an idiot at the guy behind the meat counter.

Oh yes, they have pork tongue there too. And cooked pork blood. That place is amazing.

I also bought some Tamarind concentrate and a new bottle of fish sauce.

You inspired me to see what my city offers in the way of Asian grocery stores. I found this: http://www.hoalanfood.com/1112760.html. Wow. I'll probably be stopping by, especially because it's only 10 blocks from my office.

Nice! If it's anything like http://www.99ranch.com/ I go to you're going to have fun! It's like walking into another country. It even smells different.

Check out the flyer: http://www.99ranch.com/coupons_flye...rnia/flyer.html

They even have black chicken!
