No not for the main course. I'm talking when I do my high reps low weight.

When I do my 15-20 reps, I can only use 12 lbs too. I use the 20s for my 4 rep sets. So there, you don't even need to catch up!

OK, the challenge is on. Try using dumbbells and see what you can do. You may surprise yourself, kiddo.

I e-mailed her but she never replied and then after that I tried to call and eventually got someone and left a message but she never called I should try calling her again.

Well, that kinda sucks. Someday when I'm not terrified to be seen in a bathing suit, maybe I'll go to Sudbury's dunk tank. Hmmmm, unless Thunder knows someone in the area that does good caliper testing.

Well, have a good workout tomorrow. Is it bicep day?

I guess my advice to not worry about what a caliper reading would give you (since they're riddled with measurement error) is not the advice you'd want to hear right?

LOL, you're 100% right and I SHOULD hear it. I know the numbers aren't accurate but I tend to be a hopeless "numbers" junkie. It's really pathetic at times, even when I know better.

Thanks for the reality check! Saves me the humiliation of "dunking" in public or having my fat squeezed. When I die, I'll make sure to have my bodyfat tested at my autopsy.

I am feeling extremely frustrated:

Gym was mostly empty. They are doing reno so people might be frustrated about that. So I decide this is aperfect time to try the squar rack since noone is around there. Anyway. I load it up with assorted plates after approximating the bar I ask them they don't even know so I just say 15 lbs and then I pile it up to 65lbs including the bar. So I go get the clip squeeze things that you put on and for the life of me I could not squeeze the frickin' frackin clips on. I am so frustrated I want to scream but of course I can't so I gotta go back to the 50 lbs premade barbell because the 60 lbs one I can lift above my head yet. I am so mad at myself. And there was none of the guys there to ask to put it on. God I feel hopeless!

Hi Red

I'm hopeless at figuring these things out, I'm a techno peasant. However I do ask others for help. Don't know what you're gym is like.

Do they have support staff around to help? They're the ones I would ask.

Good for you for trying th rack.

I do free squats and love them. I'm not exactly sure what kind of aparatus you're talking about. Usually I give them a wide birth unless there's someone that can help me.

Have a great long weekend

We're off to go camping and hiking at an undeveloped hotsprings about 7 hrs from here.

Maggie
