Hi Rachel,

I don't mind sharing my experience at all. Last month I was on 50 mg of Clomid, and had very bad mood swings. They moved me up to 100 mg this month (I took it from Sunday to Thursday). --- I started Lo-Carbing after I took it last month..--
Anyway, I have been in a great mood this month, but I am having a difficult time sleeping. I have alot of hot flashes in the evening.

We decided about 5 years ago that we wanted to have kids. For about 4 1/2 years, we just didn't do anything to prevent pregnancy. I must say it was difficult because I did not always get my period with the PCOS, and I thought I was pregnant about every other month! I have spent a fortune on EPT tests!! Anyway, last month was my first on Clomid, and our first month trying with a fertility specialist. I have my hopes up very high, and have a really good feeling about it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. It helps to know that others are out there! Good luck with the treatments!

Kristi

hey kristi, thanks for writing. i laughed when you wrote that you thought that you were pregnant every other month. i did the same thing for the first year or so that we were married. i would always wonder and got and get a test. it was always negative. not depressing then, but it sure is now.
in the beginning i was very hopeful. then i started getting really depressed about the whole thing. i went through the whole, 'why me' thing. but it just didn't work. depression isn't fun. so i kinda snapped out of it, and i am a lot better about the whole thing. i think, in my case, talking about it helps me deal with my whole situation. sharing my feelings and the new things that i find out, relly helps me. i have come to ter,s with everything, sort of, and have decided that god will give us a baby when the time is right. when we are better together as a couple, prepared for a child, and completely ready. i know you've heard that from everyone else, but i think until you agree, it doesn't matter how many times you hear it! i will still try and have a baby, medication and all. but i try not to think about it so much.
anyway, i am rambling again! ahhh! it's very hard for my husband and i right now, because he's gone so much of the time. he is in the army, and he leave for weeks and months at a time. last month, i ovulated, but he wasn't here for it. bummer. and then they found a cyst and i couldn't get on the medication. and he was here. don't you just love how life works out? it's wonderful. but it will all work out. i think that i am getting myperiod here soon. my almost done with my cycle and i can feel the cramps. so we'll see when i go next week for an ultra sound and stuff. i'll get weighed too! i can't wait to see myweight loss for this month!
anyway, i'll talk to you soon. thanks for listening!

Hello! I have been on Clomid for 2 months now with no luck in anything except gaining 20 lbs. I have polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis, so I'm not exactly real fertile. In January, my gyn. did a D&C and said that I should get pregnant within 2 months. Well it's now August and still no luck, so in June he put me on Clomid 50mg. When I started Clomid in June I weighed 118 lbs and now I weigh 138 lbs! I walk and run 2-4 miles per day and eat next to nothing. It seems like the less I eat, the more I gain. I have gone from a size 6 to a 10 in 2 months. It's very depressing and I don't know what to do! I want to stop the clomid to get my weight under control, but I want another baby really badly. I am only 26 years old, by the way.
Someone please help!

Have you been doing south beach the whole time you were on clomid?
