I had a 1.8 whoosh so finally got rid of those damn gains from the past couple days. Whew!
My TOM seems to be winding down to nothing - I had 2 days, and now it is halting. Very strange, yet extremely welcome!!!!
I will be seeing the surgeon today at 3:15pm, so the finality of this is close at hand.
I also have an appt with my reg doc and a fasting blood test tomorrow morning so she can look at the A1c and help me with adjusted meds. So I will most likely not do a Carb Nite until Thursday at the earliest. It is imperative that I keep close control with this nite.
BARB! It is so nice to hear you again! I'm sorry the travel was terrible for you, but I sure am glad you are safe and sound. And with only a minor flux.
You are lucky to have potential buyers for the house before it is even listed! I hope it sells immediately.

You are so very close to goal! And when you finally reach it, you will continue to see ups & downs daily.
But such is life. Be grateful you have managed to lose all your excess weight.
KATHY - I hope all is well with you. I missed seeing your post, too!
We seem to be a dispersed group lately. It would be great to get the cohesion back. Last week was icky for the majority and I really hope this week is better. We are all past the weight loss honeymoon, and are now struggling to manage the losses we have had and accept the snail-like pace of losing the last of it.
Seeing the daily flucuations is sometimes a real drag. But. like they say, you didn't gain it all in a day...As long as we continue to make the best food choices and control ourselves, we will eventually get to where we need to be.
Today we are going to roast a turkey breast! YAY!
And I am going to make a little cheesecake dessert for myself! And we want to eat BEFORE my Dr. appt, so I am looking forward to a nice lunch other than a salad!
I am so sick of salads, but I still try to eat them for the nutrition.
