Unhappy I am so sorry!

Again, if you make adjustments to a recipe you haven't made the one I gave, but one you made up, and had the issues with that recipe. I can understand you might not like mine, absolutely normal. I am sure there are things you like and make I wouldn't enjoy so much. Its the human experience.
But I guess what made me feel badly was your telling me in an open forum you didn't like my recipe when it wasn't really the one you made.

I am so sorry!!!!! I did not mean to offend!!!!

I submitted my response because I thought it might help someone else who may have the same result. And I felt if I had done something wrong (like not chopping the artichokes into smaller pieces or rinsing the marinade off first or using a milder brand) that someone who had made it before would give me some tips or let me know that I had omitted some steps.

I am very new to this forum. From reading other posts, I assumed that it was o.k. to post my results. I know that I have found great benefit in others posts about what they liked and didn't like about a recipe and any tips that they had to offer. This has been encouraged, on other forums and groups. I am so sorry, I didn't realize that I was doing something wrong or something that would offend you.

I did like the dish. I have said so several times. I enjoyed it enough to want to work with it and find a solution and had hoped that someone could give me some tips on what went wrong.

Yes, it's true, I added some salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion, and cheese but none of these things would give you a vinegar taste so I naturally assumed the problem lay in the marinated artichokes that I used (which are marinated in vinegar and oil). So, obviously, I bought a really overly strong brand.

Again, I am so sorry! I was very grateful and thankful that you had posted this recipe because I love artichokes. I am so sorry that I offended you!

I've never heard anybody use that name before!! My mom used to call me that when I was growing up. My name is Melissa so my family calls me Missy, Mis, Mispris, Missymugoo & Missymagoo, Mickey. When I saw your name it brought back lots of memories & made me smile.

I made this tonight for dinner & I thought it was really good. The marinated artichokes seasoned the entire dish perfectly. DH thought it was good too. I have leftovers that I will definitely eat tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe, I will make this again. I'm thinking as a side dish for Thanksgiving.

yeah, it tasted much better with the canned artichoke hearts. and you don't need to pre cook the chix.

use raw chix.
it'll cook in the sauce and create more of a juice.

this is good.
dried oregano evened out the flavour.

Oh Yum! Thank you so much for bumping this. I absolutely LOVE this recipe.

I've made it many times, going to make it tonight for dinner. Can't wait, my mouth is watering!

Just remembered I'm going to a potluck this evening. Perfect to share with my women's group.

Did this last night - really good! Forgot to pick up mushrooms, so I threw in some bacon pieces to sort of make up for that deficiency. Great meal for a lousy cold March night.
