Ok. Triceps a little sore this morning and of all things......my abs.
I forgot to log that yesterday I did sit ups on an exercise ball. I only did 30 but today I can feel it.
Other than that, I feel ok.

Makes more sense now!

Treadmill today:
17 min ~ 4.8 mph
13 min ~ 3.5 mph

Calories burned 224

Today was a good run. One of my best yet. Honestly when I started I felt tired and wasn't really in the mood......but then about 5 minutes into jogging, I got a burst of energy and went with it. Cranked up the angry chick rock and thought of things that pissed me off the most.

I was actually able to jog 15 minutes straight. (I usually do 10 min/then fast walk 3-5 min and then jog more)
So, I'm half way to my goal. Woohoo! I'm really starting to like this.

Thumbs up Good job

Great job! Keep up the good work. I have found once I get to the gym and get started it isn't such a chore. Besides, afterward I am tired but I feel great!!

Thanks guys.

Seems weird but after that run yesterday, I felt a little more sore. Almost like lifting weights from the day before kicked in. My pecs, arms and shoulders seemed to ache a little more and I was tired.
Just seemed like a delayed reaction since I had felt fine in the morning.

It's good to work through this right? I mean.......even though I'm sore (not bad but noticable) it would be ok to lift again today?
God, I feel like such a newbie.

Yep. The soreness should actually lessen with another workout.

Another good run today!

I did it a little different:

5 min ~ 3.5mph (warm up)
15 min~ 4.8mph (woohoo!)
5 min ~ 3.7mph w/2.0 incline
2 min ~ 4.8mph (don't know why.......just felt like it)
5 min ~ 3.7mph w/2.0 incline
5 min cool down

I just had more energy today. So even though I didn't feel like I could jog any more after 15 minutes, the usual fast walk at 3.5 mph felt too slow. So that's why I kicked up the pace a little and added the incline.

234 total calories burned.

Post Good for you

Gibbi you are doing great! I do the same thing. If something seems to easy for me I try to bump it up a little. I want to push myself whenever I can.

Keep up the good work!
