Thanks! I made it. I was bored, and had a few spare minutes so I decided to make a sig. for this board.

I like dolls too, they're fun to use as sigs.

Last night I lost another 1.5lbs. SO another .5lb and I'll have lost 15 lbs in one month.

Here is me hoping a big WHOOSH for everyone else too!!

BTW,
I did my sig in Paint Shop Pro. I usually use Photoshop, but it takes less time in PSP for something simple like that.

I found the little rolls of chocolate chip cookie dough on sale so I bought a couple. Now I find no longer like chocolate chip cookies even with pms. They are gag me sweet.

Its gonna be tough testing out other sweets to find one I like.

I have always tweaked the Toll HOuse cookie recipe to be less sweet. That, and I halve the chocolate chips and double the walnuts. Then they are PERFECT!

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. And congratulations to all you big losers, every one of yuz!

Default Yippeeeeehhhhhhhh!!

Down another poouuuuuuuund!!!!
Gotta post again - you're getting away from me!
So, someone had asked me last week how I am doing it for me... Here's 'my plan': CAD/CALP straight from the book! The only thing I changed is the type of carbs in my RM. I chose to use the 'Atkins' carbs, in other words, LC bars instead of 'real' candy, Protein shakes, sugarless chocolate (Russell Stovers just came out with a new fantabulous (!) line!!!) and the like. My original reason for this was actually my skin!! I had the smoothest, clearest skin while on Atkins. That changed back to my pre-LC days skin conditions after I had started CALP. Made me freak out! So I assumed it must have been the refined sugars, starches and flours and I seem to be right! No more of those, clearer skin again, no more dull headaches and dropping pounds - still no hunger, no appetite, no cravings. Seems as though I have really found the way for me. But don't get me wrong, I will definetely still eat some refined stuff, especially with Thanksgiving around the corner, just no longer on a daily basis!!! If someone has chosen the same road, pleeeeeeez let me know! Would love to hear about others' experiences!

Unhappy Aaaarrghhhhhh... spaghetti squash isn't CAD?????

YIKES!!!

for some reason... I thought spaghetti squash was ok on CAD. I have been a little bit lazy about referring to my book, I guess I thought I "knew it all" after 12 weeks on CAD. I have been having S.S. every week for a couple of C.M.'s.... geesh. I am going to miss it, especially since there aren't all that many other veggies for CM's that I like. *** sigh****

Oh well, at least it doesn't seem to have caused me trouble, I have lost pretty consistently... however, I will stop because I sure don't want to tempt fate. This WOE is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am not going to do ANYTHING to risk losing it.

Loving this thread, people, it is a great way for a new person like me to get to "know" some of you

Vel,

I did the same thing. For the first two months after switching from Atkins to CAD I was eating spaghetti squash and grilling zucchini like it was goin' out of style.

Old habits are hard to break. Glad to hear it didn't set you back.
