Went out for dinner last night. Had a huge piece of bone-in steak with wild mushroom sauce. And none of the chips DH ordered even thought they smelled soooo good! Love how Atkins really takes the edge off cravings.
Also had 3 squares of sugar free chocolate at the cinema afterwards

Tonight I made a tomato and capsicum soup in the slow cooker (tinned tomatoes, jar grilled capsicum, onion, garlic, beef stock, passata) and served it with slices of Gouda and a low carb cheese "muffin". Yum. And easy

Haha hi Little Zu! Hope my Low carb journey is going to be as successful as yours

Tonight I made low carb lasagne, using deli chicken slices as the "pasta" and egg yolk/cream/cheese instead of the beschamel sauce. I got the idea for the chicken slice "pasta" from mariahealth.blogspot.com

Yum but sooo rich, got plenty of leftovers

I was going to have chicken sausage, but after reading this thread I will be buying a steak first thing in the morning. Steak prepared with garlic butter, steamed brocolli, and mashed cauliflower with cheese.

Last night made steak salad with roquet (arugula), cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, red onion and a mustard vinaigrette.

Love this thread - gives me so many ideas!

We are having roast chicken tonight with green beans, carrot, pumpkin and onion "gravy" (cooked onions, butter, stock and the hot chicken fat blended up)

Cleveland - that Reuben pizza looks so good. I am going to add that blog to my reader. Thanks for the link
