Plan: My own - < 30 net carbs
Stats: 440/228/210 Male 5' 11"
BF:Energy Unleashed
Progress: 92%
Location: Central Virginia - USA
Default

February 7th to May 7th

My goal this time is to work on portion control. I'll accomplish this with occasional IFs, occasional food logging, no snacking and eating simple meals mindful of not putting too much on my plate. I will be keeping net carbs < 20 most days. I don't want to under-eat everyday, so I'll mix in 1 three meal, higher calorie day per week. This goal is rather subjective, so I'll just be counting the good days vs the days that I feel are way off base with these goals.

Day 65 of 90

Good days: 51
Bad days: 14 - A week long trip to central Texas starts today. I will stick to a good eating pattern, but probably not tight enough for this challenge.

Hit the protein wall metric - that helped me decided if I was still hungry. I was only a little so I stopped eating. Happy Monday!

Rawhide! - boy, has anyone seen The Power of the Dog? I'm still trying to puzzle that one out. The first few days I could only watch a few mins and had to turn away because it was so painful/disturbing - last night i finished it and am thinking about it. For me, that's the sign of at least an "OK" movie

Got home late and decided not to go after full meal but hit more protein and some yogurt before bed. I was considering just going to bed but I was under protein low limit on protein. Once I started eating I got hungrier - maybe should try to hold off next time and get a "O" here - that wouldn't be all bad I suppose.

Day 73 of 90

Good days: 53
Bad days: 20 - The trip to Texas to visit DD#3 was great. We visited 4 state parks and did some hiking. I'm out of shape. My current lifestyle has me treading water, but not losing. I will be rebooting this challenge soon with the expressed purpose of shedding some pounds and getting back to where I was with my daily activity level. My next trip is in July. I want to be in better hiking shape by then. I'm formulating my plan for the updated challenge at the moment. I'll start in a day or two.

Back on the water and up in weight. combo of low carb warps and abusing body. First time back out is always tuff.

Welcome back Ken. Glad you enjoyed time in TX with family. Looking forward to your plan. The new Q2 plan for me seems easier to stick to for some reason. Possibly I stopped eating junk and that makes better choices easier - who knows.

I think it's the first time I ever ate UP to a protein macro to cover an arbitrary number - wasn't super hungry but I ate some 0 fat greek yogurt and frozen blueberries to hit it. Calories low - maybe from how high (relatively they were yesterday)

Now for the trickier part of the week. The Weekend.

The new 90 challenge: April 25 to July 23 - Lose 5 pounds per month by whatever means necessary.

I'll do 2 meals a day at least 5 days a week with longer fasts thrown in intermittently. I know the OP foods that I've tended to eat for pleasure. I won't say never on having these foods, but they will not be part of my daily rotation. I will include more nutrient dense OP foods in my daily regimen. Again I will focus on less sweet in my diet and I will return to making daily activity a priority. I really don't want to get back into weighing & measuring everything I eat everyday, but I will do some spot checking to see where I'm at with my food choices and portion sizes. Today is day 1 so I will record my progress starting tomorrow.

Weight loss first 30 days: 0
