Once, a hundred years ago (1983), I lost 102 pounds in 4 months doing nothing more than walking (increased from 100 yards in the beginning until my last week when I was doing 5 miles twice a day). A simple diet of anything I wanted under 400 calories 4 times a day and all the coffee I could hold (and I can hold a lot of coffee!). I fasted one work day a week (living off coffee) from dinner meal to dinner meal - meaning I missed one breakfast and one lunch only.
Anyway, to each their own....but I know my walking was 90 percent the reason for my weight loss and health gain.
