G' Tuesday Mornin', Warriors!
Take some time today to just chil-lax to take care of YOU b/c you're WORTH IT!
Stay WARRIOR Strong!
Carb-Free Food for Thought:
If you're off-again-on-again with carbohydrates you'll get NOWHERE fast!

Onward and ↓ DOWNWARD, WARRIORS! We've GOT THIS! Woot! Woot!

Woot! Woot! All the Warriors posted yesterday!! Right ON!
Not too much happening here aside from the fact that it's our last day of school before the much needed Winter Break!
It's rather bittersweet b/c we've got like 10 kiddos that are moving away, their 'rents got orders to other bases or they are retiring and 6 of them are mine. Today will be their last day with us...
My Winter Break is going to be very low-keyed; involving a lot of chil-laxin', sewin', knittin', guitar playin', etc...
I am SO NOT gonna let the holidays be the “Reason for the Season” of senselessly eating OFF PLAN & face planting into plates & dishes of carb-age crap!
Imma stayin' 100% OP because I am WORTH IT and I've worked too flippin' hard to get where I am!
My journey continues...

We eat whatever it takes to keep us staying 100% OP! Imma just glad we've found what works for each of us!
Honestly I've been eating chicken breast probably 95% of the time, if not more. Imma thrilled that I don't need a lot of variation to keep me OP. I seriously am NOT bored with eating my cb and my leafy green salads...

yea, shooting for him to quit work in June....then he has 6 months off to rest and all....then come Jan. he is going to get a 'small easy job somewhere' and work til June again then quit. Kinda like work winter somewhere, then take the last 6 months of the year off...sounds like a plan LOL I can have him around all the time in summer months cause I get out and about and am super active, but winter, oh heck no, in winter I am more inside and he has to be gone for a bit of that or I think I might go bonkers HAHA
|
Sounds like an awesome retirement plan esp the part where he's only working during the fall/winter months when you all aren't RVing!
De's DH is retiring in Jan and yours in June... NICE!

Ahhh, your kids at school also crazy about the darn games! Yea kiddo is doing just that. I told her if she does this then she has to function thru it. But she will be in bed early tonight for sure, but this week is short, she goes M-T and off friday for holiday.
|
It's crazy how connected these kiddos are to their electronics. In the morning before school (we have playground duty) lots of the kids are on their cell phones playing games instead of running around playing games with others. During lunch, it's the same thing... sad really! Since they aren't socializing at all in the traditional sense.
Fifteen years is a long time to be in the soap biz. So what are you going to do with the soap room? Any ideas??? And what will you do to occupy the time now that you don't do soap?

hubby and I (wish me luck on this one lol) are hitting the stores for a few things and done with the holiday 100%. Faster shop and told him I want breakfast out and no lunch out. Bacon/cheese omelet for me. An omelet is so easy of an option and safer than trying to navigate the stupid lunch places he always wants to go.
|
Hope your shopping venture went well! Totally understand that breakfast is easier to stay 100% OP then doing lunch with a person that eats carbs!

...I kinda want to hit all 50 states and just see our country now on my timeline

Me too!

I thought kiddo went Thurs to school but she has off....so today and tomorrow and she is done.
|
That's cool! She starts again on the 8th of January right?? Our kiddos go back on Thursday, Jan 4th and the staff is back on Wed, Jan 3rd for the dreaded in-service day crappola!
BUT it's all DOWNHILL from there to the end of the school year!

My dad started young on the Canadian railroad worked his way to Chicago and started at Montgomery Wards as a maintenance mechanic went to school and became a certified engineer! He was there for 30 years and retired at 62. Moved to Arizona and spent the next 20 years enjoying life! He walked 5-7 miles a day. Volunteered in the senior center and took lots of bus trips all over the southwest!
|
Wow, your dad was amazing! Sounds like he really did enjoy life to it's fullest!

Shrimp sounds good over the holidays. We aren't eating at home on Christmas Eve, but I think shrimp would be great to take along. I will probably make a cheese and olive tray too.

Shrimp and a cheese/olive tray sounds YUMMY!

Baby is doing great. His sister is being "little Momma" and doesn't leave his side.

That is great news about the baby and his big sister! How's his big brother handling the new addition??
So when was he born? And like Karen asked, what's his name?
