Smile Failed, but back again!

I went on Atkins a few weeks ago. But I fell off the wagon after 3 days of induction. I am extremely carb addicted, with most of the symptons - carb cravings, lack of motivation, depression, low energy, etc... I know this wae will help me gain control of my eating. I get stressed and binge eat. I'm hoping once I balance my body out, I will feel better. I hope it gets easier. I'm sure after I start seeing results I will be more motivated to keep going. Induction is harder than I thought. I will be turning 28 in March, my goal is to be back into the clothes (size 6-8) that I was when I got married 8 years ago. I don't really care what I weigh. I'm just sick of the excess flab ( I've had 5 babies in the past 7 years and have quite a pooge). Anyway wish me luck!

Smile Hello!

I am also a carbaholic... that's why I love LCing. Its so nice not feeling like you have to eat or else! I loved Ice cream and Hostess Lemon Pies. Mmmm but you know what? After 3 months of LCing I don't miss them anymore.
I don't even dream about them. But that took alittle time. When I first started day 2 thru day 16 was hell. I had headaches, sleepiness, crankiness, you name it, I felt it.
I wanted to eat anything sweet almost to the point of tears. But I got better. It helped not having any sweetner to my LC. I have some now and again but I don't like sweets... imagine that. I miss potatoes and rice now. Which is good because that is what I'll eat when I'm on maintenence. Which won't be in a while
I have two children so I can understand some of what you think.
Take Care, and welcome to the board!
