One of my guys favorite dish has been a deluxe potatoe casserole. Even though I do eat some potatoe now and then, when I made them the deluxe P.C. I decided today to make mine with turnip. I was pretty pleased with how it came out.
This is a recipe mostly for late OWL or Maintenance.

One large turnip chopped as small as frozen has browns. Steam or boil til tender. Drain well.

Blend together 1/2 can of mushroom soup, 1 cup of sour cream, 2 green onions, 1 cup of shredded cheese. Add in the turnip mix well

Put into a greased casserole dish or pie plate.

Optional:
drizzle about 2 tbsp of melted butter on top. add 1/4 cup of L.C. bread crumbs.

Bake in a 350 oven til golden and bubbly.
