Default Triplemom's gym log

Okay, this is it. I broke down and joined the YMCA yesterday, so no more excuses! I had been doing pretty good with the treadmill at home, but I was walking in the evening - with the kids, dinner, homework, etc., I was talking myself out of exercising all the time.

My goal: Go to the Y in the morning right after I drop the boys off - it's close by, and I have no excuses!

Today: 40 minutes on the treadmill
Tomorrow: weight training orientation (YIKES)!

My not-used muscles will be screaming in pain by Wednesday...

Treadmill 40 minutes and 1 rotation of arm weights on Cybex. They had to change my orientation to later this week (darn it)! I've done Cybex before, so I just hopped on the machines I was familiar with.

No gym today. Been up since 4:00 this morning - I have to make quota for work today, so I'm swamped. Tomorrow is another day!

No working out the rest of the week - bummer. I'm sick of work (as in my real job)!!!! I have my appointment with the personal trainer to get me started on a program on Tuesday at 9:30. I'm looking forward to that! Hopefully, I can get enough of this stupid work behind me to go to the gym in the morning! Ugh!

Great workout today. I must be getting ready to stuff my face or something (Thanksgiving tomorrow): 30 minutes on treadmill, upper body weights, abs and back.
