Hi, I am 22 and was told that I have PCOS in Sept. after trying for a baby after 3 months. I haven't done my part by dieting, exercise and all the other things that go along with it. I guess I just need to become motived. I don't now much about PCOS, so if anyone has some info to share, it would be great. I have decided to take matters in my own hands and do what ever I can so I can have a normal cycle. I really would love to have a baby. If anyone has a story to share, please feel free. I need all the support I can get. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Oh and is anyone from Kansas (or close to it)?

Hi Pelesugar!

I think the best thing you can do is a lot of research about PCOS. You're still young and have lots of time to have that baby. I'm glad to see you are low carbing. That should help, although I think it takes time for the body to heal after we start eating low carb. I've been doing it for about 9 months now and I'm finally starting to lose weight and see real results. I think until then I was still getting my insulin levels down to where they should be.

Do a search on google and you'll find more on PCOS than you can read.

PCOS makes it harder to get pregnant, but you definitely can!
