Default Sam's Club low carb ad

Just got a Sam's Club ad in the mail that features all their low carb products. They included a section called "Carb Tips-for staying on a Low-Carb Diet." One of the suggestions was:
"don't cut out sweets entirely; just incorporate them in small amounts so you feel more satisfied and aren't tempted to overindulge."
It's says nothing about using low-carb treats in moderation. If "sweets" were so easy to NOT overindulge in then we would not have problem to begin with. Gee, having 1 oreo always made ME want the whole pack. Their advice kind of goes against the pupose of low carb. Since when is Sam's a diet expert? I just found that kind of disturbing--it's that sort of advice that causes people to fail and then blame the WOE.

They aren't.
They are a business, looking out for the bottom line...$

That is why regarding any advertisement from them as serious nutritional advice is simply foolish. I think you are on the right track.

Every day there are more and more manufacturers jumping on the Lo Card band wagon and are driven by profits. Many will intentionally mislead you on the nutrition claims on their labels. You GOTTA READ THE FINE PRINT!
