Default Need An Alternative

I want one of these.
Very badly.

But I obviously cannot have one of those.
And so, I need alternatives. I've got the willpower not to break my diet, but it'd be nice to make some sort of "no-guilt reward" for myself.

Sometimes you can't really get all that close with LC alternatives. But make something else that is sweet, crunchy, chocolately might work. Loads of recipes. Look in the sweet treats table of contents.

What always works for me is eating bacon. I call it "meat candy".

How about rolling out one of Linda Sue's almond thins even thinner (like on a silpat)? http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/almond_thins.html

You could thinly spread 1/2 tsp of natural peanut butter "sandwich" it between a couple of the ultra thin almond thins... and then just drizzle it (not dip it like the KitKat) with dark chocolate (like 99% Lindt... though in my area, I can't find anything above 90%) sweetened with Splenda?
I don't do Splenda, but if I had a craving that fierce, I might consider it.

It might give you a 'taste' of what you want in the KitKat, maybe?

I make coconut bark with coconut oil, cocoa, and a bit of non-sugar sweetener. The smooth feel from the oil, and the taste of chocolate works for me.

I just ordered some 100% dark chocolate. I hope that'll work instead, it's pretty low on carbs. I've had it before, good stuff.
Thanks everyone! Mmm Kit Kat
