Default Topicort on eyelid???

Been using Topicort to dry up the recurrent rashes on my chest, back, neck. Now I have developed an itchy spot on my eyelid (saw this at this time last year ironically!) but wondering if I could put a teeny spot on my eyelid? It's in the crease - not near my eyeball.

Thanks in advance!

Better ask your dermatologist! But I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to risk it getting into my eye. Also, the eyelid is very thin and I wouldn't want to risk it getting further inflamed. If the cream makes it worse, it could really be a torment: itchy, but you don't want to rub and make wrinkles...

Just a reminder that we cannot - and certainly should not - give any medical advice over the internet.

Only your doctor (or possibly your pharmacist) can give you this sort of advice.

I won't do it Rosebud. I might wake up with some scatch marks though! Will call dermatologist tomorrow!

Good - with a bit of unconscious rubbing, it can easily get from the crease to the eyeball. Have you figured out what is causing all these problems? In my case it was dairy.

No Deirdra. They are doing a hole punch biospy March 2nd. Think it's more related to autoimmune kind of mess. Derm asked if I saw the rash around the time I was d/x with Hashi's and the answer was yes. Endo says "no relation" but the rash actually started right on top of my goiter! I also now have it on the inside of both elbows and back of both knees. Who knows.

I know that for my children's eczema, they prescribe a lower dose for the face and "any skin in a shaded area, like the neck."

It can cause permanent thinning of the skin which you don't want!

Algts - unfortunately, it seems to b the only thing keeping the lesions under control. I am using it like twice a week.

Do you have Psorasis? I have it and my eye lids top and bottom are affected.
I had a med I was able to use on my eye, I don't know what it was but I need more in a really bad way. The skin peels and I have lost eye lashes.
