Default struggling a bit ( HELP!)

I am struggling a bit at present, no loss at all for 2 weeks. I now realise it because I have been eating low carb breads and bars on a daily basis.

I am a 55 year old nurse I get up very early and don't feel like cooking bacon at 5.30.

I found it so easy to just put 2 slices of toast in the toaster and off to work I go

I wondered if you experienced losers ( I should have said weight losers)
can give me some idea's or maybe post a few of your own daily eating plans???

I have an added problem in that I am intolerant to Lactose but can eat a small piece of cheese.

I can also only tolerate 1/2 an egg a full one giving me cramps. I know I am sad!!!

I also have anosmia/paronosmia which apparently can be linked to hypothyroid, this makes some foods taste disgusting. The only foods that really taste ok are sweet things ( jellybeans are still good) and bread when toasted.
Thankfully potatoes taste disgusting!

Any help gratefully received as I do not intend to give up this time!

Hi Belynda,

Here's my breakfast, because like you, I get up very early and have no time to cook. I make two different shakes, I like the yoghurt one best.

1/2 tin coconut milk (200ml - 8oz)
1 teaspoon cocoa
1 raw egg - optional in your case
1 teaspoon Splenda

100g greek yoghurt (whole fat milk, bio yoghurt)
about 100ml water (4oz)
1 raw egg
3-4 strawberries or a dessert spoonful of canned berries

Both make good shakes which last me for 3-4 hours before I need to eat again. I think you would be OK with the yoghurt one because the bacteria have digested the lactose.
The yoghurt one is fairly 'high' in carbs - about 10 - but I'm happy to eat fewer later on, in return for a quick and easy breakfast. The coconut milk one is less, about 4-5.

Sometimes I make it up the night before, put it into a large glass in the fridge, with some tinfoil on the top, so in the morning its already made and cold and all I do is drink it down!

Hope this helps,
Jay
