Default Just saying hello...

Hi everyone,

I've been a pretty frequent poster on these boards as they're one of my favorite LC boards. I just switched to Protein Power (my first day today!) and so far I love it. I've been LCing off and on since Jan 2002 but recently really got my butt in gear with diet and exercise (Dec 2004). So far I've lost 23 pounds and I'm hoping for at least 10 more.

Mainly I've been doing my own LC, trying to be as "clean" as possible - I gave up dairy and coffee in Dec and most processed foods and frankenfood (except for some AS) and it's worked nicely so far. I read the PP book and liked the idea of balancing carbs with protein and getting more accurate protein requirements for my body type and activity level. I'm also trying to switch to 6 mini meals a day rather than 3 big ones, as I keep reading about how much healthier it is for the metabolism.

You've all been great posters and the PP info threads have been great. I read the older version of the PP book and am waiting for my PPLP book to arrive in the mail so I can see what the latest on the plan is. So my protein requirements have been calculated according to the old formula but the number sounds reasonable to me (74 gr minimum per day).

Anyway, just wanted to say hi .

Tam

Hello, you two! I don't get "out" much. Mostly stay in the Java Room, but thought I'd wander out today. Feel free to post in the Java Room. We're not exclusive. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
