I confess I don't know much about thyroiditis, but have been tested for thyroid probs. in the past.

I don't know that much about EBV but did find this:
Quote:
Chronic EBV Infection: Reliable laboratory evidence for continued active EBV infection is very seldom found in patients who have been ill for more than 4 months. When the illness lasts more than 6 months, it should be investigated to see if other causes of chronic illness or CFS are present.

Now, I do know what CFS and fibro can do, and I know how it can affect someone- but once again there are all ranges of severity. My mom told me there is no way I could have fibro because it took her friends with fibro 2-3 hrs. to get dressed in the morning due to pain level. It's an insiduous disease... and so much not known about it.
