Question Could I be? Some hypo questions.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. And, I have a couple of questions.

I fit the profile for hypothyroid in many ways:
*Suspect borderline high prolactin levels
*recurrent miscarriage
*low calcium(confirmed), zinc(confirmed), and suspect selenium
(glutathione deficiency confirmed).
*cold during the day
*intolerance to heat
*hair is brittle (don't even bother to wax legs anymore, it just grows
back in a matter of days)
*feel tired, restless, useless
*my eyes feel gritty and dry (had to abandon contacts, couldn't get em
to work -- yeouch)
*sensitive to light
*lots of lightheadedness
*severe TOM cramps

I'm actually underweight. Could I be underweight and still hypothyroid?

And, do I understand the testing correctly: Free T3 and T4?

I take my basal temps every morning -- have been for 2 years. (I chart my menstrual cycles). Haven't noticed them being as low as the mercola site mentions, but I take them vaginally, and that will result in higher readings than oral or armpit. (I do this because it makes my charts more accurate for ovulation prediction). Did I understand that this is now considered a poor test anyway?

I learned a lot from reading the threads here. Really great info. Now I'll have something to go to my doc with. I'm always the overeducated patient LOL.

Also, until I can get testing, any of these supplements pose a problem:
Flax Seed Oil (Think I saw that this one is a ?)
Evening Primrose Oil
N-Acetyl Cysteine
L-Lysine
St. John's Wort
Vitex (chasteberry)

Those are the only things besides mineral and antioxidant supplements.

Thanks in advance!

Shonda
