Default Made it through the Holidays!

Hello again! Looks like we all made it through Christmas... looking forward to keeping in touch throughout the new year. I am back in induction and feeling much better. Read the Atkins book again over the holidays to renew my faith in this way of eating, definately reassuring!
Happy New Year's fellow Islanders!

Hi PINK. I too, made it through Xmas, but not well. Back to induction for me. Getting rid of all the goodies - sending them home with kids, and going for grcoery shop at Costco today for cheese, meats, eggs, etc.
Has not been great for me eating -wise, but tomorrow is another day. I have learned just to get back on the bandwagon and carry on.
Happy New Year!

Glenda

I did the same thing. I sent all the goodies and extra ingredients to Grandma's house today. I found once I made it through the first two days of induction I felt stronger. I am SURE you will find the same thing!

I think this must be why New Years falls so close to Christmas.

We can quickly 'turn over a new leaf', 'resolve', and 'put the past behind us' after a period of commmitting anything from a minor deviation to insane indulgence

Good thing too, -- I sure could have been a lot better behaved over this holiday season.
