I have a question. Say for example, you have a night where you eat something that has way too much fat....like a roast turkey wing, lmao. I had a cup of butternut squash plain and a cup of asparagus as well. Should I try to balance things out by eating more carbs or what? I just could not resist..............I also had about 4 oz of breast meat as well. Thanks for the help. Cheryl

I think I can answer that... each meal is each meal... straighten it out by staying in 'The Zone' for all your other meals and just chock that meal up and forget it! That is what I do. In the Zone, it is one meal at a time... and as you know, you base it on the amount of protein you need for the day... BUT you still need to just watch each individual meal... I hope that info is correct. The fat won’t take you out of the zone… that is based on the protein/carb ratio. Ingesting too much fat will slow your weight loss though. What ya say Zone Coach? Is that correct?

You are correct. Fat has no impact on insulin and that is why it won't throw you out of the Zone, but too much of it will be stored as fat.
