Westman is a guy I give a lot of credit to, he was introduced to the Atkins diet from a patient, He was interested enough to contact Atkins and visit his clinic in NYC.
I live in the Hampton Roads area and I am 200 miles from Duke. I know the Drive on I-85 very well, my wife and I visit several doctors at Duke and we travel there 4 or 5 times a year. I would be interested in Westman's clinic it's just not feasible to travel there regularly. The meetings could be a possibility, we sometimes travel to Durham on Tuesday for Wednesday appointments.
Thanks for all the LC research links you post, it is sorta one stop shopping for current developments.

He can be flexible about how often you come back to the clinic, some see him only once just to talk about medical history. Getting in at Duke Lifestyle (not at main campus but up Roxboro Street at the regional hospital), the wait can be up to six months. Some have lucked out by calling for cancellations. Or make the soonest convenient appointment, and then you have it, decide as you get closer. |
