Paleo is "carb agnostic". You eat as many carbs as needed to meet your own personal goals. If Weight loss, then stay on the low end of carb intake is needed. If healthy young athlete, then eat higher. Although I occasionally give the higher carb plans a whirl, like Perfect Health Diet, I have to come back to under 50g to maintain my weight loss. Chris Kresser's new book, Your Personal Paleo Code, does a good job laying out a "30 day Paleo Reset" diet and then how to change that basic plan to meet your own goals, food intolerances, health issues, etc.
